The Challenge:

Increase acquisition and engagement across 6 target audiences of newly launched loyalty scheme, Sun Savers.

Our Collaborative Approach:

First, we needed to think about our audience. We deep-dived into sales, POPAI and TGI data to identify the best way to reach each target group.

Then we got hands on. Collaborating closely with News UK, we accompanied their field sales team on in-store visits and held workshops with national account managers to fully understand each retailers’ needs.

Inspired by our learnings of the shopper journey, we created messaging and creative guidelines across different touchpoints.

The Results:

We delivered a comprehensive 2019 messaging and touchpoint matrix, tailored to each audience segment. Plus, a retail strategy to influence future investment decisions and retailer support.
